Our 409 grade stainless steel system is a stainless MIG welded exhaust. This utilises 409ss pipe work with a raw finish, along with stainless MIG welds to provide a more budget friendly exhaust, with all the same performance features. The muffler & resonator remain 304ss construction and the rear muffler tip and hangers are still precision tig welded, so all the bits seen when the car is on the ground are still top quality finishes. 409ss is commonly used as an OEM grade for modern car exhausts to prevent exhaust rust and provide longevity.
